AHI in AR Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I had a first today. The whirlpool tub had deck mounted valves and no spout. With a little bit of hesitation I opened one valve and found the tub started filling up through the jets. In 13 years I've never seen this. There is no brand name on the tub, so I can't look it up and see if this is acceptable. It seems like there's a pretty good potential for cross contamination, but I don't know if there is a check valve or other system employed because the front of the tub was sealed. Definitely seems goofy. Anyone know if this is okay?

AHI in AR Posted January 20, 2012 Author Report Posted January 20, 2012 Thanks, Jerry. I looked at the site and it appears you are right. Still seems odd though.
