gtblum Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Saw this on someone's roof this morning. You might have to enlarge the pic. Phone camera. Under the upper gable at the edge of the snow line was some sort of purple stuff that looked like it was bleeding out of the shingles. As the morning went on the purple stuff worked it's way down and got wider. Click to Enlarge 53.1 KB Any idea what it might be?
Robert Jones Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Hell I wasn't even sure what the white stuff was...
John Kogel Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 It is purple stuff bleeding out of the white stuff. [] Bilie Jean dropped her lipstick while sneakin out one night? A racoon left a bag of berries up there? A wild Paintball shot?
Erby Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 A bottle rocket red stick laying on the roof bleeding out dye.
gtblum Posted November 11, 2011 Author Report Posted November 11, 2011 I'm starting to wonder if it's from a berry eating bird. Good answers.

manhattan42 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Dryer vent nearby? If so it's probably lint. Very common with dryer vents that terminate near or on a roof.
