Nolan Kienitz Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Now, links to info is cool. It is the future. Why should I talk about product, or anything I don't fully understand as well as I might, or that might be tangential? It's like having a boilerplate about concrete in the report. I'd rather just link to the Portland Cement Association, or similar stuff appropriate to whatever I was reporting on. It is pretty cool. I started putting links in my reports about a year or so ago and am still in the process of doing same as I come across various items. One downside is that I've found it handy to occasionally check the links to be sure the document or site is still there so I'm not sending my client "high an dry" to a dead link/document.
Erby Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 I use links to my blog and other sources in the report. Have for quite awhile now. Erby - The Central Kentucky Home Inspector's Blog Some people use them. Others cruise right by them. Mine is to put it out there. Theirs is to decide. What's that saying about leading a horse to water?
