Jim Katen Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Dressing beams. Cause that's where you hang the deer. . .
Neal Lewis Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Waht do you think about those 4 x 4"s supporting the deck AND the tile roof.
Les Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Waht do you think about those 4 x 4"s supporting the deck AND the tile roof. I think, I don't see any dead bodies. It did not fall down during the past 115yrs, so it is performing as intended and functionally consistent with its intended purpose.
Robert Jones Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 Hey Mike. I haven't gotten any calls from the "north" side in a while. I appreciate you including me on your list. I hope one day to be able to return the favor. Thanks for the input on the "beams" guys. BTW, the home was built in 1982 and the buyers thought they were "ugly".
John Kogel Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 I'd call them "the rotten ends of the beams." []
ghentjr Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Dressing beams. Cause that's where you hang the deer. . . No wonder. I was walkin around the woods trying to shoot them.
