John Kogel Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 Why does she have 3 conductors coming down from the meter if she only has 120 volt service?
Rob Amaral Posted August 15, 2011 Author Report Posted August 15, 2011 The 'service' enters the box in the photo at the left.. a neut and the 1-120V... The place was 'interesting'.. About 1800 SF or so..
Jim Baird Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 There was a little old lady here who never used enough kw hours to make the minimum and raised hell every month.

I see it now. The hot on the left feeds the meter and returns on the right. I wonder if there's a special penny under that little fuse?
jigsaw Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 Rob, that's one way to keep the monthly[:-slaphap electric bill down.
