joes108 Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 My Mother-In-Law lives in a Town House in NJ she called me today and said that the neighbor called the property manger complaining of a leak in his garage. They looked into the leak and found that her AC condenser drain line was leaking into his garage. The condenser is located on a second floor balcony in a outside storage room, the condenser line goes across the balcony then down through the neighbors garage wall and then to the outside of the building. I am wonder if you can run the condenser line through another persons garage. The property manager wants her to pay for the damage to the neighbors garage I just want to make sure that the drain line is run to NJ building code before we pay for the damage.
Neal Lewis Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Joe, the best bet would be to call the Building Dept in Whiting or Manchester Twp and ask them. Or you could call the Department of Community Affairs, Codes & Standards, in Trenton (609 984 7609). They're always very helpful whenever I call down there.
