Bill Kibbel Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Specifically, it's the North American Barn Swallow. I've been smacked in the head by them quite a few times.

Richard Moore Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Marc, if that was meant to be a joke you should use an emoticon. Otherwise people might think that you don't know Mexico is part of North America. Florida too, come to that.
John Kogel Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Marc, you can always tell a Barn Swallow by the hayseeds stuck between his teeth. [] They are good for one thing - chasing and eating mosquitoes.

Bill Kibbel Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 I inspected a barn that had 2 dates for each year written on a wall. It covered over 45 years. The farmer was keeping a record of when the Barn Swallows returned and then departed each year until he passed away.
Marc Posted July 15, 2011 Author Report Posted July 15, 2011 Thanks fellas. I'd forgotten that geographic fact. Marc
