SHOULD I PLUMB IT LIKE AN ATTIC AC COIL OVERFLOW OUTSIDE OR IS IT PERMISSABLE TO TIE INTO (NEW) WASHER DRAIN, IF SO HOW SHOULD IT BE TIED IN? BEFORE OR AFTER TRAP,ETC.? THANKS FOR ANY INPUT.

I don't know why NY would be any differant than other parts of the country. The washer drain pan should be plumbed like a floor drain.
