That's a nice faceplate too. I saw some faceplates installed in an addition that were as big as dinner plates.

Giant, dinner plate sized faceplates will some day be discovered by archeologists who will deduce that they were a hieroglyph depicting either poor workmanship, lack of skill or those who are slight of intellect.

It's roughly the same as taking a Sharpie and writing on the wall, "I f'd up this hole, heck, I f'd up all the holes"

the inlaws have these in their 1961 ranch they had built.

Ivory receptacles were all the rage in the early 60's. But I've never seen child-proofs from that era. Neat.

I wish they still made those. When I rewired 10 or 11 years ago I bought bulk packs of Leviton switches and receptacles, then my son was born and the wife ran around stuffing those plastic covers in all the receptacles. Now stuff doesn't stay plugged in and I need to replace my 'new' receptacles.
