I've seen lots of those. Folks love their Bosches around here, including me.

I've never researched, but I always thought that light was to let a person know the unit is running because they run so quietly.

I've never researched, but I always thought that light was to let a person know the unit is running because they run so quietly.

I've got a Bosch too, but it's apparently not the super-duper model with a light to let the totally clueless know that it's running. Bosch D/W's aren't THAT quiet. Unless you are an octagenarian or older, I suspect you'll hear it running.

I suspect it's a marketing gimmick.

(It is kinda cool, though.)

That's the thing. The reeltour said it indicated the dw was on, that as we stood listening to it run.

yea, that is why I don't let my dishwasher wear pants in the house.
