Darren Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 It's just too funny. http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/0 ... ver_t.html
hausdok Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Funny? I call it pretty sad when someone is so down and out on his luck that he can't provide for his family and resorts to stealing and risking his life to feed a baby. Don't they have food banks in Passaic? ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
inspector57 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Baby formula in this part of the world is not stolen to feed babies but to feed addictions. Very expensive, easy to resell and even some reports of using it to cut drugs. 22 cans would feed a kid for several months.
Darren Posted February 27, 2011 Author Report Posted February 27, 2011 Geez Mike, Do you think I'm that insensitive to the plight of the downtrodden? (you know, the taxpayers of New Jersey). Just to answer your question about food banks; here in New Jersey there IS a shortage of food. Seems with the economy in the tank, the rush on food banks had tripled last year. Didn't this give you a clue to the story 'On Friday he was taken to Clara Maass Medical Center for a psychological evaluation.'
