Sear Furnace dating again

Hi new here so I will be brief man number 602601, model number 867741120, serial number 53264890. any help would be appreciated

How old does the unit look? You have a pic of it? I don't recognize that serial# and the information I have will not date it.

3 types

1) A letter followed by two #’s in S# are year ex: R883512345 = 1988

2) (1980-1989) The first digit (a letter) is decade followed by a number ex H61139301 = 1986

3) If S# is all #’s, 3rd and 4th are year ex 22880018 = 1988

Too brief! If you're new, you're better off being long winded and including picture and manufacturer name.

I'm thinking he didn't copy out the month letter and transposed the model and serial number - because the serial number should be 9 digits -, which would make it a 1986 unit.
