Yeah, I've had the torpedo level for years too, but I always forget to take it into the crawlspace.

The good news: bricklaying pretty much gave me an internal visual plumb-bob and level. Even the slightest plumb and level issues pretty much jump at me.

And, truth be told, if there"s any doubt in your mind regarding a drain/waste line, all ya gotta do is give it a good shake, and if you hear stuff sloshing around, you have your answer. [:-graduat

I agree. That internal plumb bob and level are usually what makes me take out the torpedo. BUT, my internal plumb bob and level don't photograph very well!

The first month with an android phone is definitely a black hole. 100,000 apps ( according to cnet.com) can absorb alot of time trying them out.

You know, smart phones work great for some, others don't like em, its a personal preference.

This is a real time saver for inspections, from the phone, look for "allinspection" in the android market (2.2 or better).

on the web, look at allinspections.com. I think its like 2 bucks a report.

Also "canvas" app has a inspection app somebody made up. Canvas.com(?) lets you make your own app for your own taste, no knowledge of code needed .
