Les Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 The photos are of poor quality and composition, but they did make me think. I was on the way to a corn field palace this morning and passed this cemetary. It was cold minus 4degrees. They are of the County Poor Farm. As house/home inspectors we should spend some time reflecting on the concepts of house and home. These folks had no house, but did have a home. Not a home I would want, but better than nothing. We often speak about client expectations and how we meet those expectations. What were the expectations of my corn field palace clients? They were spending $400+ thousand. Everyone buried in this cemetary had nothing, zero, nada, nil, none, zippo. Many were civil war veterans and there are several children; more girls than boys. Why are the red bows on the top of the wreath? I don't know. Click to Enlarge 69.22 KB Click to Enlarge 73.64 KB Click to Enlarge 61.6 KB Click to Enlarge 57.1 KB
tim5055 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Could part of it be a veterans area? If so it may have been decorated as part of the Wreaths Across America Program
