Roof style

Kinda sad, we're so subconsciously commercialized... definitely a roof line I wouldn't have... It's a hip roof style on steroids.

I was fully anticipating a leak somewhere, nada. The upstairs bedroom(s) could be used as an IMAX theater.

I wonder if it started life covered with cedar shakes? If it did, there was a long history of leaks, no doubt.

Somebody did an impressive job putting that roof on. The one thing I don't see is ventilation for the roof cavities. That design doesn't allow for venting. You'd have to install a vent in every panel.

That is one strange looking roof. Very odd...

And yes the roof needs a good cleaning...
