Glad you took her advice, I know several other people with "borderline" symptoms of a possible heart attack who walked into the ER and ended up having likely life-saving angioplasty.

Scott,

does this mean our presents will be on the skinny side this year? Maybe you can carve a few dollars out of Mike O's budgeted cost to supplement my gift. Just a thought.

Yea, the budget is blown! After looking at the hospital bill, my deductible and what was not paid I'm scoping out a street corner that has a high traffic count!

Scott,

I just came across your post re your heart attack. I lost my only brother 34 years ago (at age 34) to a heart attack. His cholesterol numbers were nearly off the charts high ( in excess of 700 when first tested). My lipid profile has always been good, but my Doc has me taking so much Pravachol daily that if I eat a cheeseburger, it literally shoots out of my pores flying in all directions within 5 minutes. Its quite inconvenient, but I put up with the mess ...just in case.

Be well my friend,

Marion Peeples
