emalernee Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Scott, Great to hear all came out well. You now have a new lease on life, but don't miss a payment or he'll ([:-ghost]) come after you. Ezra Malernee Canton, Ohio
Charlie R Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Sorry to hear about this, but I'm glad you are OK. Wishing you the best, Charlie
Scottpat Posted December 15, 2010 Author Report Posted December 15, 2010 Thank You to everyone for the well wishes. I will admit that it was a life changing event. It does make you look at life in a good but different way.
mthomas1 Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Glad you took her advice, I know several other people with "borderline" symptoms of a possible heart attack who walked into the ER and ended up having likely life-saving angioplasty.
Les Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Scott, does this mean our presents will be on the skinny side this year? Maybe you can carve a few dollars out of Mike O's budgeted cost to supplement my gift. Just a thought.

After looking at the hospital bill, my deductible and what was not paid I'm scoping out a street corner that has a high traffic count!
RickSab Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Scott, Glad to hear your fine now. I guess Thanksgiving will have a special place for you now. Glad you took action and that you are doing well. Rick
Marion Peeples Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 Scott, I just came across your post re your heart attack. I lost my only brother 34 years ago (at age 34) to a heart attack. His cholesterol numbers were nearly off the charts high ( in excess of 700 when first tested). My lipid profile has always been good, but my Doc has me taking so much Pravachol daily that if I eat a cheeseburger, it literally shoots out of my pores flying in all directions within 5 minutes. Its quite inconvenient, but I put up with the mess ...just in case. Be well my friend, Marion Peeples
