Toilet Drain

Hi there, I have a 3" main line running under where I'd like to install a toilet. Can I connect the toilet to the main line with a WYE combo?

How are you going to vent it?

Just offhand, without knowing all the details, I'd say no. Just because the poop disappears from the toilet bowl doesn't mean the plumbing was installed correctly.

I would think that if it's a 3" main it would already be vented ? ?
