Ken Meyer Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 Thought you might like these pix from yesterday's inspection, a huge workshop below ground under the detached garage. It had a strong weird odor, I couldn't place it. Later I found out the previous residents raised ferrets. P.U.! The previous owner was an electrician I was told. No surprise, but there was way more than the average amount of electrical defects, plus outlets & switches galore, timers & disconnects everywhere. Found a nice surprise in one of the cabinets in the workshop, I know Katen will like this. Check out the artwork mounted to the door. Jim Katen Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 Looks like the old gaffer had some time on his hands. As for his art, I used to see stuff like that go for pretty good bucks at the Saturday Market.
John Kogel Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Imagine every one of those jar lids had a corresponding jar attached, full of oddball nuts and bolts. Mind-boggling. Probably Ham radio or TV repair stuff, all redundant now.
kurt Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Yeah, the tipoff is the baby food jar miscellaneous fastener collection. I always like those massive screw selections in the small plastic pull out drawer storage thing...........
