I've seen that one a few times but last week I had one where they had placed the photo cells in the attic above the garage. That one was a little over the top.

I think we've all seen variants on this theme, but today's job was the laziest response to mounting those pesky devices that I've ever seen. They were simply taped together in a loving embrace and left hanging from the ceiling!

Hi,

Yeah, I had the same situation as Kevin today. They rolled the wire up in a nice coil, taped the two lens together and set the hole mess right on top of the motor.

I understand lazy. I don't understand why you would put more effort in mounting them on a beam, than installing them where they belong.

sometimes the installers leave them that way till everything is done and they are to be moved to their proper location a lot of times it never happens..lol
