Scottpat Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Anyone familiar with InspectorPRO Insurance? I do low volume of work. Not my idea. Looking for more affordable insurance. Any reccommendations? I use Business Risk Partners. If you have taken and passed the NHIE they give a discount. Also if you are an ASHI member they give a discount. I would be cautious of any insurance company that has popped up in the past year or two. Seems like we have had a half dozen or so E&O providers appear over the past couple of years.
Nolan Kienitz Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Be cautious of IPSICO They are now "excluding" cement board siding, manufactured stone siding and a couple of other things. Not clear in their information and I learned today that they are backpeddling with some HIs (in Texas) who are pushing back on them for not being "up front" of such exclusions.

My partners & I pushed & they caved. My impression is that they're getting some of their actuarial information from internet rumors. - Jim Katen, Oregon
Denray Posted October 1, 2010 Author Report Posted October 1, 2010 I checked with BRP and got a quote for half the coverage I have now with FREA at about the same cost as FREA. The InspectorPro quote was way less, like 2100 v.s. 3700. No doubt need to check into the exclusions. Thank you for the replies.

I wonder why they don't write policies in Louisiana. What's wrong with the Bayou state? 'Fraid of the gators? Marc
