Artography - Midway I

Not an HI shot but got out of my car to shoot some stuff on the way to a job near Midway airport, Chicago SW side. This is one of a series of three.

Nice. The lighting gave me a little pause at first. Too many defined lines for me to process?

Something else. I scrolled the photo downward in the viewer, and I think the image would be more effective if you chopped out the cars and the bicycle (or whatever it is) in the lower/right corner.

I like photographs that keep my eyes moving around.

In this one, my eyes immediately followed the strong diagonal line from upper left to lower right. Then, they picked up the series of trestles and followed them back from lower right to the lower middle of the picture, when I discovered the little house, so oddly placed. After that, my eyes picked up the graffiti, which they followed around until I discovered the "Mike Lamb" at lower left.

I love it.
