Darren Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Does anyone have the definition (or description or even a photo) of a "Domestic open-top broiler"? Does a 'normal' gas fired cook-top fall under this category?
kurt Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Well, googling showed me that a domestic open top broiler shall be equipped with a steel exhaust hood that's at least 28 gauge. The first several links were all ICC cites stating the 28 gauge hood requirement. So, I'm kinda thinkin' it's a gas fired commercial grill.
