I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am trying to learn more about where safety glazing is required on windows (in particular a 3-season room).

Hey all, I am looking to replace my canister style radon testing with electronic equipment. Any suggestions on what to buy? The ones I have been researching have a big range in price from the SafetySiren Pro Series 3 for about $120 to the AccuStar Continuous Radon Monitor, RadStar RS300 for about $850. I have found others way more expensive (up to $5000), but need to keep this under $1000. Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Tim

In my experience, "shot" doesn't go over well. I use phrases like... "The xyz has exceeded it's life expectancy. Immediate attention is required". It's a little more to write, but both the client and the RA sees the professionalism and keep me in mind for next time.

No, it's a 60 year old house that was originally very small with an attached garage. They converted the garage to a sunroom and added a dettached garage.

I did an inspection last week and when I opened the attic access panel (in the bedroom), I noticed that there was about 2"-2.5" of tarpaper (shown in the picture). When I entered the attic, there was fiberglass insulation in only about half of it. I have never seen this before and was wondering what the history may have been??? I have been told that I should not fire up a heat pump in the summer. I have recently found from a realtor that inspectors in my area have been firing them up. What is the general opinion of this? Thank you.
