I was not aware the watts pump shut down at temperature. We have all seen hot water between 130 and 140 at a fixture, and that is the trigger range for most residential sprinkler heads. The most common configuration for a residential sprinkler system is to feed the heads with the supply to the most distant fixtures. I am reasonably certain the heads will trip whether the 140 is water or air temps.
I would advise against a watts system if your house is new enough to have a potable water sprinkler system. Domestic water temps can be very close to sprinkler head activation temps.
I inspected one last week. Main house, six cottages, and a line thru clients place and across the street (it was turned off but still connected). Two 220v pumps, two holding tanks, and almost every kind of pipe you can think of.
I seem to recall a single dome with two tubes in a magazine. Been 3 years since I was in the retail biz though. I think you'd get more light from two holes in the roof and one in the ceiling.
It's a pretty framing job. Omitting the OSB will get it past the 25 year mark, but none of the other components have more than 50 years life spans. Is it still the same house if everything has been replaced 10 to 20 times in 500 years?
Last time I bothered to look, the WNY hot spot on the DEC maps was 48. It's less than 20 minutes from me. I did a test on a house around the corner from there, 3.3.
Nearly all SPF usee the same foaming agents as soap. They smell like new cars, new sneakers, new toys, or the detergent aisle at the grocery. Farm fresh plastics. Not fish.
That's right, the company that brought us the self-immolating cell phone also has a line of exploding washing machines. http://abcnews.go.com/US/samsung-cpsc-r ... d=43291726
One of the coolest venues I've been to for training. Challenging material. I'll definitely be back. Gary, I brought the good snacks. My wife made apple crisp.
How do you have a second floor zone with a downdraft furnace? This house has in slab ductwork. It is known to harbor legionella, yours also probably contain asbestos. If you love the house I suggest you install alternative ductwork. If you love your family find a different house.
