    I agree with Bill that ounce is the proper unit of measuring the thickness of copper sheets and it can be easily converted to gauge the more popular unit.

    Yes, I agree with what you all have said as I think there is a rule of installing flashing over shingles that water runs downhills but sometimes the second rule creates contradiction with the first one.

    Quite right Bill kibbel that it would be a conical roof as its like inverted cone top of a cylindrical tower.
