  • Insulated Hand Iools

    Insulated Products

Atrix International, Inc. insulated hand tools are of a quality level equal to that of any similar insulated tool in the market. They are designed, engineered, and manufactured for long-life and high performance, yet are of significantly less cost when compared to competitive products. Among the features that distinguish Atrix insulated tools are:

    * Each tool is tested to 10,000 volts and marked with an official international certification symbol that indicates it will reduce the possibility of injury in the event it makes contact with an energized source up to 1,000 volts.
    * All insulated tools meet the ASTM-F 1505 specifications for insulated hand tools.
    * All insulated tools are manufactured in North America (not Asia) thereby assuring their quality and the prompt delivery of virtually any quantity.
    * The tool handles are made up of two plastic components with the base being a white dielectric inner coating bonded to the forged steel base and a second red plastic coating free of cadmium and other trace metals in order to optimize their antiflammability characteristics.
    * These tools are routinely tested for insulation effectiveness, impact resistance, dielectric resistance under severe conditions, flammability tests, and resistance to handle removal.
    * The insulated plier handles contain integral guards to help prevent accidental hand contact with conductive parts.
    * The insulated tools are manufactured using high carbon steel alloyed with chrome to give them high abrasion and mechanical resistance, plus hardness, they also have a micro alloy of vanadium to give greater impact resistance.
    * Warranted for two years against any defect in materials or workmanship, the warranty is not applicable when the claim is resultant from inappropriate use or maintenance of the product.
